Android...what is android? wut the hell with this green thing??
Android is an operating system (OS) for mobile devices. juz like PC or laptop, they have OS such as windows, mac, linux and so on. Nowadays, most of the mobile devices can do more thn just call or text msg. Thats y they needed OS, to make the devices much more cooler, user-friendlier, and many else. Android is a new OS introduced by Google to compete with many previous mobile OS such as windows mobile, RIM (for blackberry), Iphone. Android OS is currently moving up fast n predicted to be the 2nd most popular mobile OS behind Nokia symbian, RIM blackberry move from 2nd to 5th and Iphone at 3rd. The cool thing about all this platform for mobile devices is u can installed thousand of application in ur phone which can be downloaded for free in the internet. Apps such as music player, video player, PDF viewer, photo editor, antivirus and even Ghost detector ( i got it on my phone..kinda wanna looks like Supernatural..haha).
Android already have 4 version released since it was developed. 1.5 (Cupcake), 1.6 (Donut), 2.0/2.1 (Eclair), and the latest is 2.2 (Froyo). Unfortunately for me, my phone has only 1.6 (donut) version coz it is still under development to support the 2.1 version. Well, after all it is the cheapest Android phone that i could afford so juz live with it..haha. Android also was said has the most friendlier interfaces compares to others.
